FIZZY’S LUNCH LAB

Join lovable Professor Fizzy as he investigates the science behind tasty snacks! Assisting the professor are Avril and Henry, his kid sidekicks; Mixie-Bot, the do-it-all kitchen assistant; Corporal Cup, who gives exercise tips and healthy recipes with military precision; Sully the Cell, who gives inside information on the nutrients and minerals that make our bodies work; and the Lunch Lab house band, Freezer Burn.

Fizzy’s Lunch Lab was co-created by Evan Sussman, who then founded Hero4Hire to handle production duties for the very first PBS Kids web series…and the rest, as they say, is history!

The Lunch Lab is always buzzing with Fizzy’s latest inventions, whacky adventures, recipe discoveries, and experiments in healthy choices!

Each “episode” consisted of a thematic webisode and multiple segments – Freezer Burn music videos, Corporal Cup’s Food Camp, Sully’s Guide to the Human Body, Lunch Lab Live! – which were released individually over the course of a month on the PBS Kids Go! app.

In 2023, H4H spun off original content into a new company: Pretty Amazing Productions, the new home of Fizzy’s Lunch Lab.

BOOKS, GAMES, Music, and more

Beyond animated adventures, Fizzy’s Lunch Lab also spawned original songs, web games, and over 100 kid-friendly recipes! Three books are currently available through Candlewick Press: Super Supper Throwdown, Escape from Greasy World, and Nelly Nitpick: Food Critic.
